"We don't just bake bread. We break bread, love our neighbors, and trust God to do the rest."

Welcome, Neighbor 🫶
We're Andrew and Katy Guzek.
Together with our four beautiful children—Lola, Higan, Gideon, and Mary—we're honored to welcome you to Guzek Bread.
Before we tell you about our bread...
We'd like to tell you about our God.
"God is love."
—1 John 4:16
That's what Scripture says.
And when God is love, love becomes simple and pure. And, good. When God is love, love is easier to see, and feel, and be.
We believe bread can be an act of love.
Jesus calls Himself the Bread of Life!
The early church broke bread in each other's homes, with glad and sincere hearts. And that's how the Gospel grew!!
A warm loaf of homemade bread, shared with a neighbor, is an act of love.
A free Bible is an act of love.
A community stocked food pantry is an act of love.
A simple conversation, even with a stranger, is an act of love.
We don't claim to do these things perfectly.
But, we pray, everything we do through Guzek Bread points back to the One who is Love.

Why we bake...
Jesus told us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind.
And love our neighbor, as ourself.
We take that command literally.
And we believe we are to use the gifts He has entrusted to us for the good of others.
We believe one of those gifts is Guzek Bread.
Not because it's extraordinary.
But because God often chooses ordinary things to accomplish extraordinary purposes.
Not for our glory.
For His.
This bread is our family's testimony.
And it's our humble way of saying:
We love You, Lord.
And, we love you, Neighbor 🫶
Amen.
